Adult Programs May 2008

“Mulberry Trio”
Sunday, May 4th at 3 p.m.

The “Mulberry Trio”, a clarinet, viola, and piano trio will share delightful classical pieces of Mozart, Skolnik, Bruch, and Gershwin with their audience. All are invited to attend. The seating is given on a first come basis.

“Teeter and His Telescopes”
Tuesday, May 13th at 7 p.m.

“Teeter and His Telescopes”, a family oriented program, will show the basics    of enjoying astronomy using a Star Chart.  A Q & A session will follow plus a telescope observation outside under the starts, weather permitting. Registration is necessary. Call the Adult Reference Desk beginning Monday, April 28th. This program is co-sponsored by the Library and Recreation Department.

Intermediate Computer Class
Wednesday, May 14th from 11-12 noon

Microsoft Word and Searching will be taught at this two session class. Basic computer experience is necessary. Register at the Adult Reference Desk beginning Monday, April 28th.

Blogging Class
Wednesday, May 21st from 11-12 noon

Would you like to have your own blogging site? The basic of blogging will be taught using a simple blogging tool. Previous computer experience is necessary. Call to register at the Adult Reference Desk. Space is limited.

“The Best of Bob Hope”
Wednesday, May 28th From 10:30-12 noon

Come to the Rezvani Community Room to enjoy “The Best of Bob Hope” with Bill Levy. Mr. Levy will share scenes from past Bob Hope films, adding bits of trivia and humor to the program. Coffee and pastries will be served. Invite a friend. No reservations
are needed. All are welcome.

“Volunteer Appreciation Reception”
Thursday evening, May 29th at 6:30 p.m.

On Thursday evening, May 29th at 6:30 p.m. the library will be hosting a “Volunteer Appreciation Reception”  in the Rezvani Community Room.  The library appreciates all of our volunteers.
